Roadways have been improving over the last several years in
anticipation of future growth. The new SR 417 (Central Florida
GreeneWay) has linked existing roads such as State Road 408 (East-West
Expressway) and State Road 528 (Bee Line Expressway) to create a partial
loop around the Orlando area. The new Greenway with it's additional
miles of highway roads has not only improved the traffic flow on I-4 and
other congested roads, it has made it possible for
cities and towns in the outer regions of Seminole, Orange, Osceola and
Lake counties to now have easy access to all areas of Central Florida.
